Cancellation, Rescheduling & Bookings Policy

We are committed to providing our customers with the best possible experience, focusing on quality, fun, and competency in diving. To ensure the highest standards, we operate with limited numbers and have outlined the following terms and conditions regarding cancellations, rescheduling, and bookings.

Payment must be made in full at the time of booking for all courses and trips.

Course Cancellations:

Note:  Written notices received before 5 pm will be considered as given on the same day, while those received after 5 pm will be regarded as given on the following day, for any timeframes mentioned below

• Any cancellation once registered and more than 14 days before the start date of a course, an administration and SSI registration fee of $200.00 will apply.
• If you cancel between 8 - 14 days of the start date of a course, you will be refunded 50% of the total price.

 If you cancel within 7 days of the course start date or fail to attend, you will forfeit the full amount paid.

• Students will not be refunded for courses once the practical component has commenced regardless of the reason.

However, students can request a referral document to continue the course at any SSI Dive Centre worldwide within 12 months of the course date.

Course Rescheduling:

Note:  The day of written notice before 5pm will be calculated as the first day and any written notice after 5pm will be regarded as given the next day in any time frames mentioned below.

• Rescheduling once registered and more than 14 days before the start date of a course, an administration fee of $150.00 will apply.
• Rescheduling between 8-14 days of the start date of a course, an administration and staffing fee of $180.00 will apply.
• No rescheduling of courses within 7 days of the start date is permitted. If students are unable to attend and notify us during this time frame, no refund will be given.
• If you reschedule a course, you must rebook within 6 months of the original booking otherwise it will no longer be valid.

Change Of Mind:

• Refunds due to a change of mind are at our discretion and made on a case-by-case basis.
• NSW Fair trading advise that businesses are under no obligation to refund consumers who simply change their mind.

Gift Certificates cannot be redeemed for cash under any circumstances.
